Bovada.lv New Name of Bodog.eu

Bovada.lv is the new home for former bodog.eu players.

It was announced two month ago that bodog would re-brand their US casino & poker room as they will continue to use the bodog brand in a regulated UK gambling market. Bodog has been one of the top brands for over 10 years and has a proven track record so many think the transition as smooth as possible for players.

Current players at bodog.eu will receive an email letting them know of their new website and their accounts will work right away at Bovada.lv. The site has been redesigned but offers all the same games.

We believe that the name Bovada is a combination of Bodog + Nevada = Bovada.

Our reasoning behind the assumption is on the new bovada.lv homepage they show a road going into Nevada (you can see it leads to the Las Vegas Strip). They also likely wanted a similar name to the former bodog branding so therefore our reasoning behind the new name.
